COLLECTIVE offers its members the opportunity to visit artists' studios, look inside established private collections, meet privately with museum curators and gallerists, and participate in privately organised overseas trips to exhibitions, biennials and fairs. Monthly discussions also take place with invited international experts focusing on the history, practice and responsibilities of collecting.
In addition to group meetings, COLLECTIVE spends time privately with each individual member to gain a full understanding of his or her objectives, areas of interest and budget, and to assist in the development of a personal strategy and focus for the collection. It is central to the success of COLLECTIVE that each member's collection is allowed to have its own voice, to grow at its own pace and in its own direction.
